Disappointed

Being new to Huntsville, we had heard everyone talking about the ribs at Dreamland being the best and was looking forward to our first visit. After dining there last week, I am very confused though. Ribs with almost no meat on them and what meat was there was very hard to chew, I just don't understand what people are talking about. We won't be back.

I love Dreamland ribs. Be sure to specify the big ends. Ribs come half-rack or full-rack. Half-rack has 6 ribs and full-rack has 12 ribs. I can't really eat 6 ribs unless I'm really hungry. When I just need a small lunch I order the rib sandwich, which is really three ribs and bread on the side. I always order my ribs dry. I also love their banana pudding and baked beans. The original Dreamland in Tuscaloosa ONLY sells ribs. This Dreamland sells pulled BBQ pork sandwiches, BBQ chicken, and Brunswick Stew too. Be warned, everything is priced ala carte. I've never been disappointed.

My husband always gets the rack of ribs, I always get half of chicken and a pork sandwich. Great place to eat, food is always great tasting. And the only reason I give this a four star is because the smoke really makes me choke, when the fire gets to burning good, it smokes up the place and that is the only drawback I have with this great restaurant. Service is good and fast, and their banana pudding is pretty awesome too. I am a repeater and repeater........

Service was non existent. Had to ask twice for everything. The food was not good and it's like eating at a picnic. Overpriced for what you get. Tried it twice and was disappointed both times.

Ribs or sauce not good. Chicken is the best thing on the menu. Smoky in the restaurant.
